Stefanie has over 15 years of experience in fundraising, corporate development and executive leadership for the charitable and non-profit sector in a variety of organizations. She received a BA in Media, Information and Technoculture from the University of Western Ontario and has been actively working and volunteering in the health and international development sectors throughout her career.
She has worked for such organizations as the Heart and Stroke Foundation, World Animal Protection International and the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation. She is currently a content developer and an instructor for the Fundraising Certificate Program at George Brown College.
Stefanie is passionate about helping to empower patients through research and support programs that will improve patient outcomes and care. She has acted as the Vice-Chair on the Brain Injury Society of Toronto Board of Directors and is currently a Treasurer on the Board of Governors for the Neurological Health Charities Canada Coalition.
