CMCC continues its tradition of supporting quality, evidence-based spine care for underserved communities
An organisation such as World Spine Care, which is totally dependant on support from many different sources, could not conduct its programs or research without the support of individuals and organisations.
The Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) is one of those organisations which has been a collaborating institution and supporter of World Spine Care since our early days. It was one of the first institutions to provide tuition scholarships to qualified candidates to be educated as chiropractors. One of the first recipients has returned to Botswana and is practicing in the capital city of Gaborone.

World Spine Care Canada acknowledges the impact of this support and thanks CMCC for enabling us to provide clinics to assist those with spine pain in underserved areas, to provide education to local health professionals, and also to perform research to ensure our experience is available in the research literature.
Recently, Dr. David Wickes, president of CMCC said, “World Spine Care’s mission–to improve lives in underserved communities through sustainable, integrated, evidence-based, spine care–is a cause that is deeply aligned with CMCC’s vision as an academic institution to create leaders in spinal health.”
Dr. Jean Moss, president of World Spine Care Canada said, “We are very grateful that CMCC has continued to support World Spine Care, allowing us to bring evidenced-based care to underserved areas of the world while providing education for local health care professionals and an excellent clinical experience for our volunteers. Our clinics have a significant impact on our patient’s lives and they also allow chiropractic greater worldwide exposure.”
Thank you, CMCC for continuing to support our mission and work.
World Spine Care is fortunate to have support from multiple institutions and partners, including CMCC. These organizations provide financial support, professional endorsements, and collaborate on important research projects.
