World Spine Care is a collection of three healthcare-focused charitable entities. World Spine Care Europe is registered and headquartered in the United Kingdom.
The charity was established to facilitate the involvement of healthcare practitioners with an interest in spine care throughout Europe. The organization is led by Adam Wilkey.
MGM Collaboration Project
Unlike the World Spine Care clinics supported by the US and Canadian branches, World Spine Care Europe has developed a partnership with the Mahatma Gandhi Mission Institute of Health Sciences School of Physiotherapy in Navi Mumbai, India. The World Spine Care clinic is housed within the university hospital and is staffed by physiotherapy students, including PhD candidates.
European Spine Ride
Each year, World Spine Care Europe organizes a multi-day cycling event to raise funds to support the clinical projects in India.
Previous rides have taken place through Austria, France, and the Netherlands.
