Thank you.

It is a question I ask myself often. Your support of World Spine Care Canada (WSCC) is crucial to our ability to continue impacting countless lives in our clinics around the world. Our dedicated network of volunteers continues to provide care to those in underserved communities. Our patients are immensely grateful for the difference made in their lives, and we wish to convey their gratitude to you. The work of WSCC can only be realized with your support.

You may be interested to learn that we have just opened a new clinic in the remote community of Cross Lake in northern Manitoba. We have partnered with Health Canada on this research program conducted by the Global Spine Care Initiative. The study is to determine the impact on this community by adding an evidence-based spine care clinic to its health resources. Currently, many people experiencing symptoms are required to leave the community to seek care or take prescription medication for an extended period.

The goal of our research is to determine if such a clinic can make a difference by providing early treatment and helping to return patients to their normal activities while reducing healthcare costs and rising opioid use. We believe that the results of this research project will provide the data for governments to use in other remote communities. We hope you are excited to be part of this amazing story that will open many doors for the chiropractic profession.

In other news, the WSCC clinic in Gaborone, Botswana, run by Dr. Mufudzi Chihambakwe, is doing very well. He has done an admirable job with this robust clinic while recently being named the president of the African Chiropractic Federation, along with receiving an honor of distinction at the recent World Federation of Chiropractic conference.

We are pleased to report that we now have two volunteers in the Dominican Republic, Dr. Sayuri Tovar and Dr. Glorimar Ruiz. They are currently looking for a site for a second clinic in the vicinity.

In closing, we would like to express our sincere appreciation for your donations in a unique and novel way. This recording entitled ‘Hope is World Spine Care” is performed by Walter Moffat, who was inspired by the work that we do.

Our success is a testament to the incredible impact we can make when we work together. Your continued support has been instrumental in our progress so far, and we sincerely hope that you will consider partnering with us again as we continue to fulfill Walter’s vision of a ‘life pain-free.’

Regards,

Jean A. Moss DC, MBA
